Adult Inpatient Programs
Our inpatient services are designed for adults experiencing moderate to severe psychiatric problems who require acute care, in a hospital setting. Our specialized programs are tailored to each patient’s individual needs, enabling them to return to daily life, and to work, in the shortest time possible. In addition to our crisis intervention and medication stabilization protocols, we also provide treatments that include individual and group therapy, as well as family education.
Specialty Inpatient Programs
Exclusively Women
Designed to help women practice healthy lifestyles, improve coping skills, identify emotional triggers and develop resiliency. Our individualized, evidence-based treatment can help women recover from grief, loss, trauma, anxiety and major depression, including postpartum depression. We provide a nurturing community where women can receive support and share their experiences with others, in a healing environment. Our inpatient women’s program is staffed by an all-female team: our psychiatrist, therapist, nurses and technicians are all women.
MedPsych/Geriatric
This specialized geriatric program is designed for senior adults facing behavioral and medical health issues unique to the aging process. Our interdisciplinary approach gives patients access to a psychiatrist, a medical doctor, a dedicated nurse manager, a dedicated wound care nurse, and physical and occupational therapists, which allows us to coordinate care that helps patients heal both mentally and physically. We also pride ourselves on involving families and established healthcare providers to ensure that progress made in treatment is monitored and sustained once patients leave our care.
Dual Diagnosis
Our clinicians use evidence-based approaches to treat participants suffering from substance use disorders, such as alcohol and opioid addiction, and co-occurring conditions, including mood and thought disorders. We treat addiction and co-occurring disorders simultaneously, with an emphasis given to the way in which these conditions reinforce one another, to help participants get on a path to recovery. Patients in this program can receive Medication-Assisted Therapy, including specialized medications like Suboxone® and Vivitrol®, to aid in overcoming short- and long-term withdrawal symptoms.
Acute Care
Intensive clinical supervision and support are provided for patients in serious mental health crises. Patients in this program are typically experiencing acute or severe psychiatric symptoms related to chronic suicidal ideation, bipolar episodes or other disorders. Our dedicated and experienced team of clinicians that operate this program receive specialized training, which allows them to deal with our most acute patients in a caring and supportive manner.
